New look website

You might have noticed, we have a new design for our website. All the stuff you were familiar with (if you've been here before) is still on here, but we've moved it around a bit, to make an easier life for our webnerds. And to make it look prettier.

So have a wander round and see what you can find.

From the desk of the Prez...

Well, thankfully the sunshine has returned (at least it has up North), it's been horrid for weeks...maybe that St.Swithins nonsense isn't nonsense after all.

Let's just hope this sunshine remains for the next couple of weeks - we don't want it to rain on our parade. Or our Rally - The Wakinyan Rally, that is (see below). Hopefully, a number of you will have bought your tickets and will be getting yourselves organised to join us, near Tamworth, for a weekend of fun and frivolity. And messy games.

Apart from meeting some great new friends over the so-called summer, I have also met a couple of very nice men, in big orange trucks. They brought me and my broken Gixer home from the RBLR Poker Run a few weeks ago. The Gixer is now sitting forlornly in my garage, sans engine. Hopefully that will be rectified in the coming weeks/months. I'm lucky that I have another bike that I can ride, so hopefully I won't miss this late summer sun.

So promise me you'll grab life by the horns and enjoy what's left of the summer, before we plunge into winter once again. And these days it happens quicker than it used to do, have you noticed that?

Take it easy.

Wakinyan Rally

The club is presently planning this year's Wakinyan Rally. We've got some great bands lined up - and a new venue! We can now take PayPal for ticket purchases, so you don't have to bugger about with sending cheques and SAE's. So wander along to the dedicated website and see what you'll be missing if you don't get yourself there..
